Drip

If you have a drip coffee maker, then your options are a lot larger than if you only had a single serve option. However, due to the fact that drip coffee makers don’t have auto-reversing features like some other brewing methods do, your coffee might not be as hot as you would like it to be. The next step up from a drip coffee maker is buying an espresso machine for your house. These aren’t too expensive compared to the amount of caffeine that they put out and allow you to make lattes and other drinks that require steaming milk very easily.

French Press

The French press is the original brewer and will give you the strongest cup of Joe that you can get without having to resort to using tons of sugar. With a French press, however, your options are quite limited compared to some other styles of brewers out there. If Decaf is your thing, then this isn’t the best style of brewer for you given how much work needs to go into creating fresh grounds for each cup. Last but certainly not least we have cold brewed coffee! This method takes ages but tastes incredibly good and can be used even after its expiration date has passed. To make cold brewed coffee, simply add all ingredients into a jar large enough to fit everything in tightly and shake vigorously until all ingredients are mixed well together. Leave in room temperature for 12-24 hours before drinking (depending on how strong you want your drink), then transfer into an airtight container and store in freezer until ready to use (12+ months). Before drinking from thawed out container let it thaw out on counter top for at least 3 days before opening (longer if fridge). Some people prefer cold brew to regular brewed coffee because it’s less acidic/bitter tasting than regular brewed coffee; try both ways and see which one you like best!
