Matcha Tea vs Chai Tea: What tos should you choose?
When you are searching for the perfect cup of tea, you might have come across both matcha and chai. They both look very similar, and have a lot of good reviews compared to some other teas. As usual, there are points of difference between every pair of tea and kettle that you should consider when choosing which kind of tea you want to drink. Here are a few things to think about when deciding whether or not you want to go with a matcha or a chai tea.
What is your diet?
Diet is the most significant factor in whether or not your body will respond well to a certain substance. Whether it is food or drink, your body has to be able to process it properly or it can cause issues later on down the line. The same goes for tea; if you have an issue with one type of tea, then you may not be able to enjoy drinking any kind of tea. Going into this project thinking about what you eat is a great way to figure out which kind of tea will work best for you.
Which one do you prefer?
This question isn’t that hard to answer, as I mentioned before, matcha and chai look very similar, however, they taste very different from one another. If I had to choose only one, I would choose chai over matcha, because I find that it has more flavour and gets me higher than matcha does. However, matcha doesn’t taste bad at all, and can be used in place of regular black coffee if you need something caffeine-filled but don’t want the side effects (i.e., tolerance) that comes with consuming caffeine everyday.
Do you need high amounts of antioxidants in your life?
For some people, yes, they do! In fact, there are many healthy lifestyle ads out there that claim that we can live longer because of our diets and daily habits. Antioxidants are one of the major reasons why Matcha is so popular; it is packed full of antioxidants and gives us energy while also promoting healthy skin conditions and fights against cancerous cells. If you don’t believe me when I say that Matcha has tons of antioxidants in it, then check out this article about how much Matcha is actually in comparison to other kinds of green teas. The amount of antioxidants contained in Matcha is incredibly high compared to other kinds green teas; even though it doesn’t taste as strong as some others, such as Jasmine Green Tea or Litchi Green Tea, it still has plenty in store for those who like them less bitter options out there.
To each their own!
Ultimately the decision is up to you on whether or not you want to go with a Chai Tea or a Matcha Tea experience. Both are great ways to get your daily dose of caffeine fix while also giving you benefits on top of that caffeine fix! To each their own choice I always say!
