How to Serve Zucchini in a Bowl
Serve zucchini in a bowl alongside your favorite pasta dish or as a side dish to some of your other favourite dishes. There are many different ways that you can serve zucchini in a bowl, some methods being better than others. Here are a few ways that you can serve up some zucchini so that you can have the best tasting zucchini every time.
Pasta is one of the best things that happened to chefs and restaurants. It is very easy to cook with and makes eating out incredibly convenient. If you happen to be cooking pasta at home, then serving it in a bowl will give your guests something to scoop up the noodles with while giving them the option of using utensils if they don’t want to use fingers. This method works best if you use nice thick noodles, but if you buy spaghetti sauce that comes with noodles already cooked, then this method works quite well.
On its Own
If you are just wanting to eat some zucchini on its own, without anything else, then simply slicing it open and scooping out the seeds will do the trick. Don’t waste your money on buying fancy squash slicing tools when a regular sized kitchen knife will do the trick just fine. Then again, if you have a skillet that fits five inches of flat top space, then using that for cooking all of your vegetables will make cleaning up after yourself much easier.
Topping Other Meals
If you are cooking something else in your oven, like maybe wings or pizza slices, then placing some zucchini on top of those items before placing them in the oven will give them a nice golden colour and let everyone know that someone is eating healthy! Toping other meals like this isn’t too difficult, especially if those other meals are waiting in line behind one another. You can also try putting some cheese on top of your meal for an extra layer of flavour.
